If you want to go up past 3.73, you will NEED a carrier as you know, that one looks to be like the right one, but dont go buying anything yet. I posted in your other thread a link of a very well known vendor. Buy your stuff for way cheaper through him. I can vouch for him, i have about 600 in parts from him.

So what your saying is. Order the gears and the locker say like a spartan locker and the spartan locker will take place of the carrier since the spyder gears are a weak link?

 

a sparton isnt a full case locker. i think the eaton elocker is as well as the ARB air locker and the OX locker. im not 100 percent on that but pretty sure thats right
