Basic maintenance for new 2000 xj sport
Hey I'm a new jeep owner. I recently bought a 2000 Cherokee sport and it runs fine but seems to be rough all around inside the engine bay. Any tips on things I should tune first or things that are just an easy replacement to start with?

New Cherokee xj 2000 sport basic tune?
Hey I recently bought a Cherokee and it runs and drives but it seems rough inside the engine bay. Just overall wear and tear but I was wondering what would be the best basic tune ups or upgrades that I would be able to do to make my jeep run smoother and more efficient.

Start with all of those items, change all fluids, inspect any suspension/chassis components for wear).

About a week and a half ago I picked up at 2000 XJ, I got lucky and found one that appears to have been babied and is still bone stock right down to the factory radio. This is my second XJ and while it's in amazing condition my previous 99 was anything but.
First things I'd suggest is a full service and tune-up. Don't skip out on a good coolant system flush. after that I'd inspect all the bushings in the front end (sway bar, SBL, control arms, etc) as well as all the tie rod ends. Next change the fluids in your differentials and transfer case, as almost no one does those normally. After that just drive it awhile and see how it feels and behaves, then go from there.
Good luck and enjoy your new toy!
