This is more of a feeler; not certain if I want to sell. Just thinking about getting into another Maxima or something similar with leather and all to drive every day. Great to drive with no real problems to speak of. I've been on point with maintenance and have all receipts/records of anything and everything done to the Jeep since I've owned it. I have an Excel spreadsheet that I've used to keep track of all maintenance done to the Jeep as well. (mileage, cost of parts, date, etc). Jeep has no problem starting, idling, driving... It is an absolute solid driver ready to go cross-country. I've dropped over a grand in maintenance over the past 6 months or so. There are no leaks, odd noises, or rattles (other than what you expect out of a 12 year old Jeep).
The Jeep has never been off road from the previous owner. I have only been off road once since I have owned it, and this was only on logging access roads to get to a campsite a few months back. With that said, the transfer case and all functions of it work perfectly (4hi, 4lo, etc).
2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 (stock & un-modded)
-Automatic
-CLEAN title in my hand and in my name ready to be signed over
-88k-ish miles (drive it just about every day so it will change)
-NON-smoker
-Clean and complete interior
-Good tires (85%)
-NEW brakes (rotors, pads, shoes, and fluid)
-NEW wheel cylinder
-NEW oil change (always on time with tire rotations done at each time)
-NEW transmission flush
-NEW coolant flush
-NEW thermostat
-NEW evaporator case
-NEW heater core (burn-your-feet-off heat)
-NEW Kenwood head unit
-NEW Polk speakers w/new speaker wire for fronts (typical problem for them to break over time even though mine were not broken)
-NEW wiper blades
-NEW OEM-style muffler
-Recent A/C charge
Things that will probably be done by the time it sells (if I sell it):
-F/R differential fluid change
-Transfer case fluid change
-Seafoam for giggles
-Fix passenger window regulator
Negatives:
-Front passenger window regulator has crapped out (typical Jeep thing)
-Clearcoat/mirror plastics are burned in a couple places from the sun
-Rear bumper has some scratches from previous owner
-One mount on the driver's seat has broken from a, well, larger previous owner. The plan was to swap in a leather interior from a Grand Cherokee but just never got around to it.
All in all, it is a very well maintained Jeep that I have taken much pride in keeping that way. Mechanically sound that will last another 300k+ miles I'm sure if kept that way. This is the fifth Jeep I have owned with this being my second Cherokee (XJ). All around outstanding vehicle that will never leave you stranded, and in my opinion, one of the strongest, most reliable drivetrains out there.
$5750 sounds fair. Don't need to sell; if I can't get what I want out of it cash or trade wise I'll just hang on to it and keep on keepin' on. Only real reason I want to sell is to pick up a 2001+ Nissan Maxima or something similar.

Hey bud,
I'm interested in your XJ, let me know if you become serious on selling it. GA is a ways, but I've got a brother getting ready to graduate Jump School and will probably be down there within a few weeks.
Thanks for posting, the jeep looks good.

Nice jeep. If u do sell n get a maxima I'd say go 02+. I have an 05 altima ser with the vq35. Its definalty quicker than the 3.0 of the 01 n older if ur into the power aspect. Plus the hid headlights were standard on 02-03 n I love the hid's on my Nissan. Glws n happy maxima hunting
