Year: 2000
Model: Cherokee
Engine: 4.0l I-6
Default 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport "Lulubelle" - complete service history since ownership

VIN: 1J4FF48S7YL141593
4.0 L I6, 4x4. 217980 miles.
Power doors, mirrors, locks, sunroof, A/C, cruise control

Up for sale is my Olive/Military Green 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4WD. Ever since I have owned it, I have maintained it in its condition and added on some stuff to it to give it a more unique character. It has been in covered parking and is a non-smoker vehicle. I have complete maintenance records since my ownership, including receipts for parts I bought for it. It went through major preventive maintenance in April/May 2016 along with a new headliner. It has also been professionally detailed inside out each year of my ownership.

ADD-ONS:

6 WARN wireless driving lights (4 on roof, 2 on front bumper) with a Carr light bar
1.25" spacers on all wheels from Quadratec
30" Jeep Wrangler OEM wheels and tires (MESA A/P)
WW2 military bridge plate number 3
Blind spot mirrors on side mirrors
ADH towing package
German court of arms and flag decals on the back. I can have these professionally removed if you so desire.

MAINTENANCE: I will provide you with the 7 year maintenance records. For now, I am listing the recent work done to it. Oil changes every 5K miles (Castrol Edge).

August 2016:

Professional detailing - Exterior wash/polish/wax, interior shampoo and vacuum, engine bay detailing.

Apr/May 2016:

Steering & Suspension - New track bar, lower front control arms

U Joints (Front) - new front axle shaft (both sides), new U joints (both sides)

Differential Service - LSD fluid (75W-90 gear glide) and differential service

Shocks & Struts - New front and rear shocks (Monroe Matic+), new steering damper, new steering stabilizer

Braking System - New rear brake pads and drums, new rear brake cylinder, brake fluid exchange

Radiator, Belt, Water Pump - New water pump, new radiator, new drive belt, new thermostat

Headliner - New headliner

DISCLOSURE/ISSUES: My personal scoring/remarks and what minor issues exist.

Exterior - 8/10. Few scratches on rear bumper from taking my bicycle in/out. Couple minor dings. No dents, never been in any minor or major accident. Paint is in great condition. Minor rust at the bottom of front doors.

Interior - 8/10. Clean interior. Some wear on driver seat on the lower left side. No cloth tears or smears. Cargo tray and cassette adapter included. All electrical components work fine (see issues below).

Air conditioner runs great. No issues with it whatsoever.

Tires have about 10,000 miles left on them. Full size spare tire never used. Rotation and alignment done on a yearly basis.

No rock chips or cracks in any windows.

New wiper blades.

Issues: The remote key fob won't work. You have to lock/unlock the doors manually. The front passenger side power window switch is out. The window switches on driver door work so you can still open the front passenger window from the driver side. Check engine light comes on from time to time due to the O2 sensor and goes away by itself. OBD scanner shows nothing else.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me.

$6,000 OBO

Lulubelle
I named this Jeep Lulubelle after the WW2 M3 Lee tank in the 1943 motion picture called Sahara starring Humphrey Bogart.

Very nice. Did I miss a location? That color is called Medium Fern Green Metallic. One year color for 2000 and its one of my favorites, though I may be a bit biased...

Thank you! The photos were taken at the National WW1 Museum in downtown Kansas City, MO.

When I bought this Jeep 7 years ago, it had a little over 172000 miles on it. I had a 3 year old BMW 328xi coupe back then with around 14,000 miles on it. There were other Cherokees listed online with lower mileage but the reason I bought this was the color. I later found out it was a limited run color and so far I have only seen 3 other Cherokees with this color in other cities. I recently bought a new 2016 Mazda 3 sedan. I would also like to say that for me the Jeep is far more engaging and thrilling to drive than the BMW and the Mazda

The cost of the maintenance in April/May 2016 to the Jeep listed in the first post was around $3700. I had no intention to sell it at the time. I had no intention to buy a new car at the time either. If this does not sell, no loss to me. I will put a 2" lift kit, a small roof rack and a back ladder to it at some point. Can't do all that sort of stuff to a modern car.

Around the time I bought the Jeep.

New Mazda arrives.

New Mazda arrives.
