Default Back in black?

How do I get my plastic pieces back to black without repainting them or armoral?

the short answer is you cant you can use a scotch brite pad to remove the oxidation than use maguires back to black to restore some of the color. but its the kind of thing you will have to keep doing over and over.
here is mine with painted mouldings and bumper covers, and door handles

i used a sanding sponge to rough/clean them than laquer thinner as a final wipe prior to painting them. i used duplicolor plastic paint gloss black i believe

Yep! repainting them seems to be the consensus. Whether you use bedliner or paint is up to you.

Are your fender flares plastic or did you paint them black?

there the originals, the ones that turn grayish/green my jeep has over 300,000 miles so you can imagine how badly they were faded

I just fixed all the pieces on my '89. I used a heat gun, works great. Maybe 5 minutes per flair, a minute per door handles/mirror trims/other small plastic pieces. Just don't melt it lol.
