when i start it now it rumbles and gets really loud and revs up for a sec and then quiets down and doesnt seem like its running right. also today when i put it in reverse and i made a loud squealing kinda sound and even in park. so i turned it off and then back on and it seemed fine. maybe its the trans but it shifts alright she just started acting up today ha
Your idle is probably acting up because of the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and/or Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. Keeping it on the cheap, start small by cleaning the IAC and bore/throttle plate in the throttle body.
That rumbling you hear is likely due to the exhaust pipe resting on the cross-member (before the cat). There's a hangar/bracket located there that can break (it's actually pretty common). If this is true then don't worry too much because the fix is pretty cheap and easy anyway.

Wow! really?
I agree with GEEOH... never heard of a motor cuasing that. Its def not the cps. if it was it would stall or not start at all. high ide or a speratic idle is vac leak or the iac or tps. trust me. you did not fix it. it will happen again. should be throwing a code. get a code reader on it. even if the light is not on, it could still be storing a code.
