Default Km2 or pro comp mud terrain

Is there any major difference between the two tires. Have heard a lot of good things about both of these tires and both priced about the same

I have had both. I'm on the km2's right now and they hook up great on the trails and mud, but on the rocks the pro comps win hands down. My pro comps also wore dam good, the sidewall got rotted out before the tread could wear out.

KM2's!!!!!!!!! Got them on my DD they ride like a dream, no howel and wear damn good my father had a set of 35x12.5's on his 3/4 ton ram set them at 55 PSI rotated every 5K miles and he got just over 50K on them then sold to my buddy who just wheels them, though they are a bit worn in so not much tread but very soft....

There are more than likely more people with the km2's so obviously you're going to get more replies saying that. Which pro comps are you talking about? I've had some of the originals and I now have km2s.

I used procomp x-terrains. they seemed to wear alot better then my Km2's currently are. If you are buying them for tread wear i would definitlhy buy the pro-comps (depending on which ones your talkin about) if your buying them for trail use go with the Km2's.

i can't speak for the km2's, but the pro comp x-terrain's wear allot better than the mickey thompson baja claw. I'm buying another set of pro comps when it's time for it.

Have driven both Pro-Comp M/T's are only two ply sidewall and gouge very easily even when aired down and wear like crap plus the load range size is almost incorrect for cherokees...km2's on the other hand are 3 ply sidewall which doesn't gouge very easily (i have seen them rammed straight into pointy sticks/ rocks and only the rim gets scratched) and the km2's wear very nicely and get better traction than Pro-Comp's...if you want somethign similar to the Pro-Comp, Dunlop Mud Rovers are the same tread design but due to the correct load rating have three-ply sidewall...

but all-in-all km2's ftw

These right?

I had these 6 or so years ago. They were one of the LOUDEST tires I had ever heard. Up there with the boggers. The did do very well off-road though.

My vote is for the KM2's, as stated above they do great in mud but where I really enjoyed them was in the rocks. When aired down the grip great, Hell even when they werent aired down they griped awesome! I can not rave enough about my set I had.
