The larger (metal) harbor freight one. Ive used it a ton for about 5 years and it keeps pumping! In fact, mine fills tires up quicker than my fathers viair which cost way more and is the same size as mine. I have had a few guys buy them after using mine and theirs have all continued to work as well.

I got a SmittyBuilt compressor after X-Mas, used it after we wheeled on a snow run a month ago. Works great and is so solid you won't believe it was only $150.

315/75/16 and while I haven't timed it, not long. *edit* ~2-5 min depending on how far you deflate them. I usually drop to about 8 and its not bad at all.

They look pretty similar! I think I paid 45 for mine on sale. Looks like it has mediocre reviews on the HF site but reading them, most are about the fact that it doesn't use a normal fitting and that it gets hot(which it does).

Many guys in my area swear by these mv-50 compressors. I don't own one but have been meaning to pick one up. You really can't go wrong for the price. Comparable to Vlairs that are $100+

We have 2 Viair's and anyone who says they are equal to a cheap piece crap HF has to be Smoking Crack.
We went through 4 of the HF's last year on 2 of the company crew trucks the Crew Chief's truck has the Viair on it. At 150 psi constant duty will air up 35" tires one after another and not quit like the HF's do all the time or just burn up.
The worst part posts read here are read by some who do not know any difference and consider it the truth, sad indead.

Lol. Ill race you any day of the week Fred (filling up tires that is) Ive had experience with a ton of different ones.. The viair 440, a couple different ARBs, truck air, tornado.... The 150psi HF is great! I dont know about the smaller one they sell (120ish PSI?) Get the one with the pressure gauge on the cord vs the unit itself.
But if you want to spend 8 times as much for a product that is slower.. be my guest. The only ones that are worth spending extra money on (and I wouldn't) are the stand alone tanks (like the power tank) with a good one like an oasis that let you fill your tires in less than a minute.
For years my HF has done the job... including in hot places like Moab/Arizona/Louisiana. I wouldn't ever buy something else lol.

I use the Viar 400.It has a high CFM rating (cubic feet per minute) Fills two tires at once, hardwired in cargo area. Coupled with a deep cycle battery, engine does not need to run to fill 4 tires.
