I wen t on Quadratec's website today just to check stuff out (& dream of what i could buy if i had money). I saw this on the front page. I've always loved these, I wish Jeep would make a pickup like this. If they did, I think I'd have to purchase one..... Thoughts

Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne has stated recently that around 2014/15, with the redesign of the Wrangler, there will be room in the lineup for a Wrangler based pickup... Solid axles and all....

If I wanted a Hummer I'd ask your sister.

All that plastic, horrible v6 motor, that goofy rounded/slanted front end, no thanks. Really want to wow me on a Jeep pickup based on a Wrangler? Base it on a TJ with an optional Cummins diesel.

there is a dealer around me that sends out jks to have this similar conversion done. they have a sweet 2dr in black and they want like 45k for it.

Really???? are fvckin kidding me??? thats just stupid. bad enough that a stripdown 4x4 2dr wrnglr is 25k.

So if they do build it, it def won't be affordable. i just couldn't justify it and i make jst under 50k a year.

I'll keep my Cherokee and slowly restore her over the next few years. Atleast ours have a 4.0

True! It's nutz what they are selling Wranglers for now, since every Soccor Mom wants one to be cool. You used to be able to buy a TJ w/6cyl. stripped down bone stock for around $16,000 new. Now they're all filled with plastic crap and you can't touch one for $25,000 or $30,000. We got robbed. If they do bring a 4door pickup to the lineup, it won't be cheep or affordable. I still think they look cool as hell though....

i love how everyone bags on the V6 in the wranglers. the 3.8 was a turd, yes, but the new 3.6 is actually really decent. 285 hp stock, these things actually feel kinda fast for a heavy wrangler. they also get better mpg than an XJ while weighing more. gotta love modern technology. the only downside is the early 3.6s have a cylinder head problem, but its covered under warranty. anyways, i'd rather have a 3.6 than a 4.0
