you'll probably be alright for a little while if you're only going 3", wouldn't leave it that way forever though.

I'm currently doing this, I actually made a thread called picture request and one of them is for this same setup, although I have a few pictures request threads. I actually really like the way mine looks with a 3" lift and 235's.

Trust when I say it's all about personal preference. Goofy to some is gold to others. (hood spacers being my primary example)
So as for 3" on stockies, well, I hope they have decent tread, at least.. But your not gonna have to worry about rubbin! So that's a plus. With my 235 dura tracs and a 2" BB and I can rub a bit up front, so your def good there. It will keep your axles close to ground, so watch clearance... Other than that.. Idk, drop 300 on an Aussie locker for the *** end so you can actually utilize both tires (when ya get em )

one of my friend's cherokees has been running that style since last summer. he hasn't been able to afford tires yet. I give him hell telling him it looks goofy but it really doesn't. if it doesn't bother you then who cares, might as well put it in.

4.5" RC X-Series on stock 215s! The list actually gave me almost 8" over stock. Talk about an upholstered roller skate!!! I need to get the 33" BFGs mounted to my other rims!
