There had to be one. Of course.

Look at where jeep is going ever since fiat. The wrangler will be last to go and replaced by another stupid crossover.

Idc about sales I really don't feel like looking at statistics. The jeep vehicles that they are making now don't even look like jeeps. They look like every other junker crossover company a and company b are making.

P. S.: What can you possibly like about that? Are you kidding? Did you like the compass too? Lol

sales for jeep have increased over the last couple of years with I think the wrangler unlimited making a good amount of the sales as well as the grand Cherokee. They are doing soo good that I think they are hiring 250 more people and they have mentioned the Grand Wagoneer coming back.

Not really. Like I said once you own one or at least drive one, keep your "opinions" about it to yourself. I may not like the compass, but I've never driven it. It could be awesome for all I know.

While I understand your "don't bash it until you try it" I'm pretty sure it is a safe bet to say that the compass is not a "real" jeep. It may ride great and have really good mpg but it still not a real jeep. I will hold off judgment until next week and read the specs. Maybe to compensate for its ugly face it is really amazing at everything else.

But just by looking at those two you can see right away it's not a real 4x4. That's the thing. Not mention it's hideous looking. You would spend thousands of dollars just to make a 3inch lift work on that car.

I'm not a fan either, but what I see compared to the classic XJ is the new one just doesn't have the approach angle or ground clearance. My 89 XJ originally had a Dana 35 which is pretty much considered the worst axle ever built (don't nobody say "it's not that bad") sot it wasn't all that great in stock form either.

I don't think independent suspension was big back then.. its a lot more popular today because people like a smoother ride. If jeep kept making what offroaders want, they would go out of business quick. There arnt that many offroad enthusiats out there. Well compared to non offroad enthusiasts. No one is forcing you to buy it so quit hating. Complaining that its not the way you like it will get you absolutely no where.

Eh...I'd do that as a warm up in my stocker, considering that they probably didn't want to damage it I'd say it did pretty well. I'm sure it could do more with some one driving who didn't give a rats *** about damage and repairs.
