What do you guys want it to do? Climb mt. Everest? Even your jeep can't do that. It's a factory SUV. Of course it won't go the places your 4.5 inch lifted jeep with 33's fully locked will go. It's not a hardcore 4wd. Neither were our xj's when they came out., it looks to go the same places I like to go. It's not a rock buggy, so no it won't be climbing rock ledges. I'm sure if you put a 4.5 inch lift on it a bigger tires. Also added lockers, maybe some sliders, lights. Etc. it could go the same place you could. Edit: the sliders, lights.,etc wont add extra 4wd capability lol

Its a crossover....a damn cross over....oh well companies are doin things for the masses nowadays. Companies, all companies, use to do things for capabilities now its what they can do for two years of owning a vehicle before people trade in for next model. Getting mad is a waste of your time. It'll never end

Idk I've seen a lot of vehicles go where I can. A Subaru outback is one of them. Saw them on my way 13,000 feet up on a mountain trail. Not to be a buzz kill but Cherokees or jeeps for that matter are not the only 4wd capable vehicles out there. They aren't going to abuse a brand new vehicle to try and get a couple offroad guys to buy it. They could care less about where it would go. They just made it capable. If you really want to go hardcore. Then you have toBUILD it. Seems to do fine for an off the line jeep. Didn't do anything less than when my xj was stock. Maybe even more. You've never owned or even seen one in person, so why be so judge mental? Get back to us once you've owned one. Same with everyone who thinks its the worst vehicle of all time.
1: I will guarantee that thing will keep traction better than a stock XJ due to the recent advancements in traction control technology.
2: That video sucks and proves nothing, not impressed at the lack of exterior video. I wonder how much footage they had to edit out. I'm sure they just released that in an attempt to "prove" to folks like us that it will be capable and hope to shut us up a bit.
3: That thing is a car underneath. Some hits our stock XJ's can take, would total that thing.

Those old videos are so cool i love em!
I really dont care how much Jeep tries to sway us towards liking the new cherokee. No amount of damage control is swaying me. I think its horrible, and i find it sad that fiat or whoever is slowly destroying the jeep name and heritage.
You cant tell me any cherokee/jeep enthusiast is happy with the new cherokee.

I love it. In the middle of a mud puddle with not a drop of mud on the side.
Do they expect this to be believable?
