2 or 2 1/2 inch lift
i like what holycaveman did. that is smart work.
i think 3" is the highest you can go w/out opening the can of worms. ie, adj trackbar, sye, longer lines, driveshaft, etc, etc..
pros about using spacers, is your stock coils are soft, and will be flexy.
cons: your stock coils are soft, and so the additional height will make the jeep feel a little more "floaty" at high speeds.
get the gabriel autozone shocks. they advertise the extended/compressed lengths on the site, and they are like $17 ea w/lifetime warranty.
i would do what holycaveman did tho.. but at least get some used 3" coils for the front. you will find them all over the forums for $30-50 maybe.
holycaveman, what tire size are you running? metric?

The extended bump stops and stuffing the tires inside the Wells are the trick.
I fully flexed it out with no sway bars and decided to cut the front fenders 1" for added clearance. With the 2" front shock extensions it flexed a lot more.
Wish I would have known about those Gabriel shocks, nice find btw.

How much did those OME light duty leafs lift? im thinking 2.5" but i thought the medium duty springs are rated for that. I'm looking to buy a pair here pretty soon and im looking for leafs that'll give a 2" lift but a little more is of course fine with me
