Default 1998 Jeep Cherokee

Hello, I am looking to buy a 1998 Jeep cherokee. It is going to be my first car. It is $2100 and only has 76,000 Miles on it. I am 6'4' and i am wondering if anyone knows if i will fit comfortably in it. Just looking for opinions before i take the drive to look at it. Also, I do have LONG Legs

I've read from other tall members that they can sit in it comfortably......also, an XJ with that low of miles is my wet dream lol. ( just because I would get it early in its llloooonnngggg life) Get it if its not trashed...

I know the Lady selling it. I have driven it once. Felt good, just some people that saw me said that i looked uncomfortable. She is taking it to a mechanic this week to have a 10 point inspection done and get a list of things its going to need if i get it. If it needs much $$ i may try to lower the price a bit. She offered to get the muffler fixed because it was broken off.

So far: It needs a new Rear Spring Shackle

I'm 6'4" also and I've felt fine in Cherokee's. But I'm also talking from a passengers perspective. Still haven't found my Cherokee yet so no experience yet as a driver.

You can get these http://misch4x4.com/cherokee_xj_bigboy_brackets.html it will give you 3 more inches to slide the seat back but kills the leg room of the seat behide the driver.

Get bigger tires and lift, easier for you to step in.
6'4", no problem as driver. However you'll never get into the back seat, those doors were made for the kids soccer team.

Honestly go sit in one see if you can drive it,If not look at full size cars or a full size truck if you want a 4x4.
