So after picking up my lock nuts this evening I rushed home got the jeep on stands pulled the wheels off excited to finally get my bead locks on. As it turns out the sidewall on the original mtr tires is very tuff and has no give at all! So off to Walmart in the morning to have my tires took off the old wheel and one bead put on the others. Will post pics as soon as the jeep hits the floor with all wheels on

Blowed the boys minds at Walmart this morning when I told them to take the tires off one set if wheels and only put one bead back on the others. Spent the next 30 min explaining how it works lol

They didn't know how beadlocks work? You should have easily been able to put the tire back on the front of the rim yourself. I usually lay the wheel on the ground and throw the tire on it at an angle. Slips right on. Then bolt up the front bead and put air in it. Bolting up the front takes FOREVER!

I always think of the whole bead lock concept and what I always wonder is, won't air leak from the section where the bead locks are supposed to keep it sealed?

Well I would have but they offered and didn't charge for any of it so I figure why not

I second using dynabeads or airsoft bb's inside the tire, I ran 16oz of dynabeads is my 35x10.5 super swampers of my old Toyota, far superior to triditional lead weight balancing!
