Default Weldin bead locks

Well after the front bumper went well I decided to use the a to z weld in bead lock rings. So far I have all rings welded in and the welds ground down on two wheels. Here are some pics of the progress

Is ir worth while using bead locks on...lets say a regular 31-32" mud tire like a hankook or BFG or only suggested for a REAL tire, hardcore off road.

Worth while, hard to say. You really can't air down a 31" tire enough to warrant the cost of beadlocks. You shouldn't run less than about 12-15psi due to the short sidewall. Whereas I run 4psi in my 38s and need them but don't have the cash at the moment.

That does look like some real nice welding. Just picked mine up and haven't gotten a chance to use it, hope mine will look anywhere near as good.

I like the color combo too, it is what mine is getting. Black XJ with Rustoleum Engine Orange. So far only the diff covers have gotten the orange but more will come.
