Sub box modification more room to work with
alright so I have a box height of 11.5 inches and 29.5 inch length. I used to have it in (if looking from back) it is in there depth wise. I want to rotate it lengthwise so I get some more useable space. Thing is it doesn't quite fit, i don't want to cut up the box to much but think I could kinda angle cut the corner and slide it in there? Idea's or suggestions? Also was thinking making a faulse floor over the top to kinda hide it. How much higher should I put the floor in order to allow an 1800watt amp with fans on top can vent. It's mounted to the box. Thanks guys, any ideas welcome

It's 1.52 cubic feet inside the box. I had a Kicker CVT 10" in a .75 cu ft box that didn't stick out any farther than the wheel well. This box was originally designed for a Boston Acoustic sub that needed 1.5 cu ft for a sealed box. I can redo this design to cover over the wheel well and it will cut back on the space used in the cargo area. Also, the woofer in the picture is not shallow mount so it needed that much room just to mount it.
All in all, everything could be made smaller. But, with the way it is now, it sounds fantastic and takes up less than 1/3 of the space my previous dual sub box did and puts out the same sound
