Here's a little more love for the Fabrication you did.

I've been thinking of doing something similar and it's nice to see one already done. My kids already have trouble getting in and when I lift it (2-3") that will only get harder. I'm not a fan of the round nerf bars and most sliders are useless as steps. The only rocks we have here in N Fl are pebbles, I don't need them for climbing protection at all.

So I think it's a great idea only you know how you'll use your jeep and what your needs are. I think if and when I do it I might do it so the inside of the slider is near flush with the side of the Cherokee.

Well all the haters will be glad to know i shortened the legs to the sliders. I cut three inches from between the sliders and the pinch seam out. I will admit i like it better like this.

I like em much better that way.

Back in the day my sliders stuck out far enough to be a step. I liked them as steps but I like my bubble gum welded sliders better.
