snorkel ?

Default snorkel ?

If i do a home brew snorkel i keep seeing everybody using 3 inch pipe couldent i use 2 and it do the samething

I was wondering the same thing someone told me any smaller would congest the airflow but i think 3in is to big to look good

Look at my album, mine is made out of 3' abs and it looks just like the same size ones you buy.

I did 3" on by 93 briarwood. I took it out the front of my finder with a turn joint on both sides and ran it up the driver side window post. I like the look but I do think that it is a little overkill on size. I did loose a little low end after the snorkel

I have been planning on using 2" for when i make mine i think 2" should be able to flow more air than the filter can let in but i could always be wrong.

If you go to make it send me some pics of what you did and let me know how it works i have about 4 feet of 2" is why i was wondering why buy more when i have on hand

i did mine in 3"....once i went into the fender i reduced it to 2"....and do yourself a favor and get sch 40...stronger than the black abs and its not as britttle when its cold out
