Didnt get a whole lot done tonight, but atleast its progress.
I cut the front of my frame off and reinforced it a few weeks ago, so now i'm going to weld on a few plates for extra bolt mounts for the bumper.
Here is the front end...

Cut some simple bolt tabs...

Then started on the side mounts. Didnt get real far on them...

Thats where I am right now. Probably will get a little more done tomorrow.

It was my day off today, so i was in the garage for a few hours today. Heres some more progress pics...

Got some Fender guards cut at 45* at the ends.

Gonna wait until i pull the bumper off to tack these cardboard pieces on so i can weld up the fender guard first.

Hoping to finish tomorrow.

That bottom skid is only about a 1/2 inch from the lowest part of the front of the frame. And since I cut the stock off at put that new front piece on, which incresed ground clearence, I'm actually just about back to where the stock piece on the front of the frame hangs down. I will get pics of the clearence when its finished.
Hey! it was like 5am or something. you knew what I meant though. there goes his Approach angle.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but for me at least, half the point of building a custom bumper was to get a better approach angle over stock while also creating a BEEFY winch mount and front bumper. just my .02
