Could anyone please do your best to explain to a newbie, how to remove my cancerous rockers and weld on tubing, also specifically what to weld onto...Thanks!

Cut the cancer out find 2x5 rect tubing cap the ends and weld it in I think the rockers are about 60" when you weld it in weld it to the body but be careful because it's a thick to thin weld. Only weld three inches at a time because of warpage, skip around and weld in random stops
i am in the process of it right now. i am doing it a different way. i am putting the steel at a sort of an angle to get a stronger hold, and it follows the body contour a little better. if you would like me to take build pictures, i will do that. just let me know
alright... well im in college. i will be working on these when i go home for the weekend. i have one side completely done, and will be finishing the other side this weekend. i will make sure to take pictures and post them for you.

I will be tying it to the frame after I add frame stiffeners. It might beable to be done with the doors on just be a little harder. I was working on my doors so I just took them off.
I had that same problem on my jeep and replaced them a few years ago, did a write up on another site.. here you go, hope it helps!!
I think this is a great thing to do for more reasons than one
