Cut the cancer out find 2x5 rect tubing cap the ends and weld it in I think the rockers are about 60" when you weld it in weld it to the body but be careful because it's a thick to thin weld. Only weld three inches at a time because of warpage, skip around and weld in random stops

i am in the process of it right now. i am doing it a different way. i am putting the steel at a sort of an angle to get a stronger hold, and it follows the body contour a little better. if you would like me to take build pictures, i will do that. just let me know

Looks easy enough, did you weld it to the undercarriage with supports or anything? Can it be done without removing the doors?

I will be tying it to the frame after I add frame stiffeners. It might beable to be done with the doors on just be a little harder. I was working on my doors so I just took them off.

Yeah, a buddy of mine did it, he did pretty much the same thing I did but he put more bolts through the angle iron in the front door area. It makes up for not being able to access it through the rear door in the 4dr model. I will see if he has got any pictures.

good luck!
