How come you didn't go into the front fender and continue the sliders a little farther and weld the fender to the slider?
Either way it looks awesome

Because I didn't want the permanence of having my fender welded to something. This way I can still remove my front fenders if I need to. I thought about just cutting the bottom of the fender and leaving it but then it would loose support and become flimsy.

you could have folded the bottom of the fender under .75 in and then bolted them to your rock rails. or sheet metal screwed them to you rockhers what ever you felt like doing
If you wanna make the weld look better go to you parts stor and get some seem sealer (like for body panel replacement) and put a nice cove over the weld then paint it

dude, nice design n build
definitely not your run of the mill sliders. i also like how u have used the strong axis of the square tubing facing vertically, so if you land on something hard, it will have a smaller chance of getting beaten up

yea i thought about skim coating the welds with some body filler but if I hit something with them (which I am sure I will) the first thing that is going to pop is the bodyfiller. With the doors shut you can't see the welds unless you get down and look in the gap....so I am not to worried about it. As far as the fender goes....good idea didn't think of that, but I guess it is a little late now. O well, I have pretty good spotter and don't plan on ever landing on the front part of the slider. So far I have just hit the sides.
dont use bondo, use body panel seam stuff like for puting floors in. its flexible
