I suppose,to install captains chairs in my jeep.heres a pik so hopefully next time u won't draw in so much interest on ur fail x2. notice the armrests,a key feature in the appearance of a actual captains chair.see now u got ur ***** busted a bit, suck it up and learn from ur mistakes.

nice write-up. I'd be more worried about the bolts pulling out than the
wood giving way.

I think its a cool mod. Don't see how the carriage bolts are any stronger going through wood vs. steel. And no CF I don't give a **** what you think about this post. If you *******s spent half the time working on your jeep as you do bashing the **** out of each other, this forum would be worth being a part of.

Seen write ups for both XJ and ZJ front seats in the rear on more than a few forums. There just aren't many write ups because every seat out there is going to mount differently.

Someone is mad. It's okay though. I get mad sometimes too. But you seem to be really mad.

Too much bashing, he did something he thinks benefits him why the hostility. He made the brackets out of metal now not wood. Personally I wouldn't do it but it's his xj not mine

Can we see a pic of the metal mounts you had made? Curious if you changed anything else designwise.

These guys are smart enough to be about safety, that's it. I've said some dumb stuff and been rewarded accordingly. Take them by their tone. Generally, they like the seats - and wood, as a structural support in an automobile, is just dangerous.

Its just true.
