Default Online Retailer for Sheet Metal?

Any good recommendations outside of Amazon? I'm looking for cold rolled 18 gauge and it's not as easy to find as I thought...

What size, and how many sheets?

You're better off going to a local steel yard.

Kinda expensive though.

Try local fab shops as well, they might have remnants they'll let go for cheap

Not many fab shops to choose from around here and the ones I did try were more than hd.
But if you want longer pieces, yes.

What do you think of flux core mig vs. a 70 amp stick welder for 3/16 steel?

Wire feed will be easier to control...but both can work, IF you know what you're doing. Flux core and arc burn hot, easy to blow through the material. Personally I would use a true MIG setup with a 75/25 gas.

Not to let this go to Roni's head (Lord knows it barely fits through the door now), but his boss thinks that he is one of the best fabricators at his shop.

I don't know about Durango, but down in Mancus or Cortez there are metal supply shops.
