i have been looking to buy some sheet metal near chehalis but dont know where to go to get it

Dude?!?! Really?!?! Why blast a kid for asking a simple question. Maybe by posting this question on the forum this kid might be able to find a brother XJer that had some or knew somebody who had some extra sheet metal laying around taking up room in their gargae and would sell it to him for cheaper than the local steel place. Are you always this angry when anybody asks a question near you. He didn't even ask the question to you personally.

 

Hey 88, he was right about using a Google search. I found 10 different places that sell sheet metal in Chehalis alone on Google. That's not even counting places in Centralia, Olympia, Long View and Kelso if want to go looking for better prices. Good hunting....and hey, Chehalis is my home town. I visit family and shop in that area a lot for parts for my own Jeep. Post on this thread or PM me (BuckB91XJ) if you find a place in the local area that has awesome prices on steel.

 

thank you buckb91xj... i did google it and all that came up was roofing supliers.. called them today and they only have light gauge...

 

try centralia supply and fab. also chehalis steel co inc.

 

i know there is a central supply out in Everett, i was just there. they are a huge place and had like 6 buildings there. idk if they have one closer to you

 

what kind of sheet metal are you looking for and how much? how thick ?

 

Everett steel, there's also guy around trafton who's has a huge *** metal shop but I've only been there once. I actually have some a couple sheets of stuff that about the thickness as our stock bumpers. It's raw
