good looking bumper! Definitely like the uniqueness of the openings. I agree with the others on using a couple LED strips with plexiglass is a great idea for the lights.

Have not done the lights yet. To be honest I dont know how to set up a LED board. If i cant weld it and grind it I am clueless...
Thanks for all the positive feedback

walmart has/had some 6 led "accent lights" that were similar to these- http://www.walmart.com/ip/Custom-Acc...-Blue/19853328 but were white.

I thought about getting them last fall when i was looking for something to use as backup lights and i ended up getting these- http://www.walmart.com/ip/Custom-Acc...-Blue/19853328 that put off a fair ammount of light but aren't very aesthetically pleasing and are made form cheap plastic; but inside a bumper i doubt it would matter that much.

Why didn't you make the frame brackets longer and use those for shackle mounts? I hope you don't use those d-rings for recovery.

I HOPE YOU ARE BEING SARCASTIC! !!! The frame mounts are 2 feet long and use all 7 bolt holes in the frame. I also made frame braces.
The D rings are welded to 1/4 inch plate. Each side is welded in 6 places. If you LOOK at the pic, before the d rings are welded on, you will see gaps left in the front so i could weld it inside too. On top of that ....I put gussets behind them aswell.
And for your info. I built this bumper about 6 mounths ago and HAVE used it for recovery about 12 times. Both pulling myself and others out.
