Default Rock slider question

i've seen a lot of thread about rock slider.....

basically... they are few 2X3...some 2X6.... some are 1/8 thin other are 1/4...

so ..for those who build some.... what is the best ?

i'm doing smooth trail...occasionally rough one but not that much ...

What is the lenght of tubing for a 4door XJ 98 ? because i'm going to bought them pre cut!

Anything am i suposed to pay attention ?

Thank's!

PS: sorry for my english...i'm a frenchy from the north!

Simon

lol no worries, i figured you were foreign. as for thickness, i would use 3/16ths its what most that you can buy are made off, as for length im not sure, and the size of the tubing is up to you, most use 2x4

I used 2x6 I think 3/16" thickness. They work for me and I believe I cut mine like 52" give or take a couple inches just for a rough idea. Mines 2 door though but I don't think that makes a difference.
