I wanted more outlets to charge phones, ipods, etc, etc. So I found this at wal mart and modified it to have constant power to the three outlets and switched power to the USB outlet.

I could see a quarter falling there and you'd have a BBQ'd XJ.

The plan is to get power outlet covers from the JY.

After purchasing this at Wal-Mart I opened it up and cut the power wire inside and soldered a new power wire. I ran the new power wire to my fuse block with constant power and the original power wire to a switched source which then turns on the LED and sends power to the USB outlet. And as far as copying the idea, no problem. You cant beat it for the price($10).
