Did the high idle switch mod and love it basic no pictures but all i did was run a wire from my negative battery terminal to the switch mounted inside the cab then a wire from the switch to a gray wire coming off of the front PCM connector its gray the connector is the one closest to the head light cut open the electrical tape and theres 3 rows of wires the middle row theres a gray wire if you pull the clip its A12 for 99 to 01 4.0 automatic closest to the head light splice the wire from the switch into that wire running into the PCM connector then start it and hit the switch and the idle should jump to around 1000 RPMs if any problems PM me

mdcmn7 is actually correct, although you probably won't notice the difference since the angle difference is so small.

Here's the writeup for you guys I did a while back during my steering upgrades - includes first hand comparisons of the v8 ZJ components to the XJ ones.

Long story short - the v8 ZJ tie rod is the only upgrade - solid and 1/8" bigger around.

Helped a buddy of mine install it on his XJ. Its beefy as hell, but also a HUGE PITA to install.

Ever drilled steering knuckles out to 5/8"? you gotta do that with this kit, along with drilling and tapping holes through the front face of the knuckle.

Yes yes, but how did it function. That's what I want to know. No problem drilling the knuckles. I have the advantage of being a Machinist.

Actually it works really well once you get it dialed in.

Its designed very well, just happens to be a pain to install for the average joe who doesn't feel like spending $50 on a reamer
