Wasn't sure if opening the hatch was supposed to activate the cabin lights, though. I figured that button was there for the same purpose as the reading lights up front.

Replaced my tie rod with a V8 ZJ heavy duty one. Replaced my front diff cover, jy pull off, getting rough stuff soon, changed all fluids to synthetic, pulled hub bearings off and axle shafts out, replacing hubs tomorrow, and ordering my cv shafts from tnt customs this week. Gonna be freakin sweet!!!
My POS

Painted my dash with Eastwood Alumablast spraybomb

ZJ headrest mod
Pulled the metal brackets off the ZJ seatbacks and fitted them on my XJs. Welded them in place.

Old Commander emblem

fabbed some mounts for my KCs

Bedliner stone chip guards. (hides the existing stone chips)

Made up a gauge pod. Giant hassle

New Mopar crate motor

*edit Thought I should comment on the engine since I had a few PMs
My XJ had the "diesel mod" aka lifter clatter/rodknock at 161k miles.
I had it up for sale but only Jeep guys will give you $3500 for a Jeep that clatters at idle.
My buddy offered me $3K but while I mulled it over he found a ZJ and bought it.
He called me and said he had this Mopar reman crate mill he bought from his workplace (15yr Jeep tech at a dealer)
Seems they bought this 4.0 for a ZJ and when they went to install the trans didn't mate up.
They ordered the correct mill and re-crated this one. My buddy bought it and sat on it for a year before offering it to me.
It was pretty much a deal of a lifetime so I jumped and bought it.
Point is, this was a dealer/Mopar reman. You could order one but I suspect the price would be ridiculously stupid.

Toledo, I really like the painted dash. That looks good. I have thought about doing mine red to match the body. I also like the idea of the bed liner to protect the flares. I am going to put bed liner on mine from the rocker panels to the trim on the door.
