Keep in mind, this is temporary. I had the parts laying around, and it really can't be any worse than the stock intake. If it gains me a little extra MPG's, awesome. If not, I've only wasted 10 minutes and zero dollars. This spring there will be a custom box made that pulls in cowl air.

Honestly i have it for more makeshift winch use. But my 2x6 rockets will go on in the spring and i have the right utensils to use my hitch and front gooks as lifting points

I have 2' x 6' rockets for rockers, picture included.
Place lift under front or rear stock bumper directly at tie-in points. Can be used to lift chassis off an obstacle. But to lift a wheel the 'lift-mate' works well, don't have to lift past all the suspension droop to get a wheel off the ground.
Also, the hi-lift has over 3' of 'winch' capacity, provided you have the additional strapping. Can bury the spare tire as a winch point if there are none available.

I'm in the process of making one myself. Using 3/4 conduit. Going off the Olympic 4x4 rack. I'll post a pic on this thread when's it's done and I might make a new thread on it.
