Thanks for the compliments guys! I figured you might like to see the mounts, they are 1/4" all the way back (frame sleeved where need be) with the front part sandwiched with a piece of 3/8", so the tow points are 5/8" and I think that should be plenty.

Ya funny thing about this is, OA welding is twice as strong as a mig weld. Your taking metal and fusing it with metal. If done right it is the strongest weld there is. There is no room for error with a OA weld, no slag pockets, no flux cratering. SO go ahead and use the OA mayne!!!

You may want to check your facts partner, 14 years in the trades I've never seen anyone weld any structural steel together with oxy-act. That's a blast from the past high school metal shop learning tool, if you can oxy weld MIG TIG and STICK become a lot easier.

Oa twice as strong as mig weld? I think you need to test that for yourself. Stronger cause your fusing two pieces of metal and adding metal. Is mig not doing the same thing? And if you know how to use mig you won't get porosity.

I believe tig is way stronger then OA welding
