That's what I was thinking. And that's why I needed to figure out what bracketry I needed. I'm not an expert on suspension geometry, just know I need to keep trac bar and drag link parallel. Wasn't sure what role the inside vs outside frame mount played.

I just got a non disco hpd30 last night for $50, so I'm going to start building it.

Thanks for all the help, I apologize for clouding your thread!

So the track bar frame end bracket ended up being a waste of time. It is way to close to the coil and will rub like mad. For now I'm going to run the stock trackbar mount. I drilled it out to 5/8" and also drilled out the knuckles. At school today I got to run TIG for the first time. Ended up running it as my root for the threaded inserts. Then I did a 7018 fill pass and plug welded the holes. Need to drill pitman tomorrow and pick up a couple more bolts, then I'm rolling

So your actual mount was going to rub the coil?

Yours looked farther from the coil than mine and mine doesn't rub.

I mean the frame end cuz I added a 1/2" thick backbone. Forgot the coil was close to begin, with the backer it had about 1/4"

I used the double shear mount that originally came with my lift.

You plan to remake that mount and use the modified trac-bar and axle side mount, right?

Eventually yes because the heim is on a horizontal angle not vertical so it's flex is limited

yeah, I used a mount like this. I had to turn my misalignment spacers down in a lathe to make them fit but it worked well.

I'm sure you can pick that mount up cheap.

I found Jesse's old TB mount in my scrap pile! Hit me up if you want to come grab it or I could take it to The Rock on thurs.
