I got all the parts together for my steering and made a bit of progress this afternoon. I have 1.5" 1/4 wall DOM, 6 3/4" heims, and bunch of other fun stuff. I bought the frame end trackbar bracket from ballistic fab and am going to make my own axle side bracket tomorrow, and finish trackbar. Then hopefully Thursday finish draglink and drive on Friday. Then wheeling it Sunday. The wooden form was made so I can do 4 safety plug welds around the tube in addition to the main weld.

Looking good bro!!
I build my tie rod first, then track bar, then drag link. This makes it easy to get your drag link the correct length.
Lookin forward to seeing it complete.

It's not often someone does something like this without cutting every corner they can.
I did almost the exact same thing you did.
The only thing I wish I would have done differently is attempted to make the trac-bar longer. I wish there was an easier way to get the axle side mount on the other side of the passenger leaf spring.
The only way I see to do that is the move the axle forward a couple inches, move the coil buckets back and build the mount off of the inner C. I've seen that done but it was done that way from a scratch build rather than having to redo everything.
Now, off to find something to complain about.
