Just a thought since i see it hasnt been checked. Catalytic convertor may be clogged causing back pressure and stalling u out. Thermo gun on inlet and outlet will help u diagnose. If its a lot hotter in front then back its a good sign its clogged causing u to stall out.
Check Fuel PSI, it's sitting around 40-45 psi..So I don't think it's that. I might check the CPS again, I think I have a faulty one.
Stupid Jeep! %Replaced the CPS with a Mopar one, and it STILL starts, then stalls... Almost sounds like the timing is off now. Weird!
Well, it's that dreadful factory alarm that's causing all these issues AGAIN! Is there a company out there that can "re-program" the ECM without the alarm in it? I will remove the VTSS module & relay if I get someone to repair this ECM.

Before you go cutting it up, try an Autozone Alarm Bypass Kit (Bullidog #791) for $24.99

Does that actually work? Because if it does, then it's worth the $25.00 for piece of mind and stress this Jeep has caused me.Originally Posted by dave1123

I got that info from a Bing search that linked me to a cherokeeforum thread from 2010. Try a search for that specific product.

Hi XJBrent, you can try moving with your hand the PCM harness when the engine is on, if it stalls, then you have the culprit. those engine bays become very hot and PCM´s soldering points just melt causing false contacts, that is why my engine used to stall and was driving me insane....my 2 cents, good luck!!
