That dang thing is beeping and I am getting a message that says Perform Service. I looked in the owners manual and it does not say what that means.
Perform Service- What service? Anybody know?

If you go to the menu, you can set the service interval. I have mine set on 5000 miles since I use synthetic oil. You can reset the interval at any point if you decide to change your oil in the middle of an interval, like because you got the valve cover changed of something. The menu lets you do a lot of things, like I turned off the auto door lock feature, and the auto headlight off delay. It's also programmable in 5 languages, if you care. English, French, Spanish, German, & Italian.

Thanks. I thought it might have been specific to a particular problem, like a "check engine light". I am aware of the other functions and how to use it. I have mine set to Polish for the specific language. Only kidding.

No, it's just a "kick in the head" for the oil change. Mine is driving me nuts with a "ding, ding, ding" for no reason, but my son says he thought he saw a "windshield washer fluid low" flash briefly once, so I need to check the sensor float because it's full.

Sorry, dude. There just seems to be a lot of questions about WJs lately and I own one, AND I've owned a late model ZJ as well. Feel free to chime in, after all, I could be wrong. It's happened before. LOL.
I just went thru the 0331 cracked head thing. Replaced it with a Clearwater new casting.
