my apologies ahead of time, but if you have to start a thread asking where to find your throttle body.... You probably shouldn't be taking it off or doing anything other then looking at it.

Old fart with a wrench
Hey Gentlemen! (Where?) Give the kid a break! He obviously doen't know much about cars, but he came to us for help. Wasn't that smart?
Why do you want to know where it is? Did someone tell you to clean it? Do you have a problem with it running right and someone said "It's the throttle body"? Give us (at least me) some more info and we'll try to help.
Remember, we all had to start somewhere! Don't EVER put a guy down for asking questions!
Basically, the throttle body monitors air flow and throttle position to allow the computer to control fuel mixture. It replaces the older carbeurator. Some older fuel injection systems used "throttle body injection" where fuel was injected directly into the throttle body, although I don't believe Jeep ever did. Almost all systems today use "direct port injection".
Some people are so full of themselves that they scorn anybody who asks a "stupid question". The only stupid question is the one that wasn't asked!
Old Retired Fart NOT YET!!

My entire point was to relay my feeling that we were being too harsh on the guy. If you were more sensitive, he might have been more forthcoming. He may not be even viewing this website anymore!
Treat others as you wish to but treated. If you get bad, give bad back!

Some people just don't know. We had a guy, that "worked" with us,
come in one day and ask how much do they (shop) charge to add
power steering fluid. Like said above, you gotta start somewhere.
(yea, we gave him a ribbing, then showed him how).
