Default Stuck in Defrost

Have another little problem folks need some help. My switch for where the blower goes is stuck in defrost. I have checked the vacuum from the engine and that is good, then I see it going down under the battery. I think I am looking for a vacuum canister but not sure where it is. Does anyone of you folks know where that is? Thanks for the help. Having been doing a lot of little things that I can do and I think I can do this one too.

Not sure on a grand, but on the cherokee's there is a vacuum ball inside the front bumper. With my limited knowledge of grands I would check there first.

It's part of the battery tray on a Grand Cherokee.

I just had the same problem and just fixed it the other day. The vacuum line connects to the battery stand on the bottom.

It's also for your cruise control if u have it. My cruise control wasn't working either until I plugged it in. Take the battery out and on the back side toward the firewall is a small tube the line plugs into.
