Strange Brake Light issue, Ot it is a new one to me..

Having issue with 2000 GC Limited i just bought, all 3 brake lights would stay on randomly after shutting key off. So I replaced Brake light switch. Now, with headlights off during the day when i press brake pedal all 3 brake lights work fine. If I turn headlights or parking lights on, when i press the brake pedal the L& R right taillights go out completely but High brake light is on all the time. The brake light switch is brand new mopar switch.
Isn't making any sense to me. Any Ideas ?

Okay, check the wire harness connectors behind the cargo area side panels. It sounds like you've got a bad ground or power crossfeed in the area.

Pay attention to the 4.7. If neglected they will bite you.
