Default Steering or Suspension

Hi Everyone,

I'm the proud owner of a 1994 ZJ. It belonged to my mom and was getting too unsafe to drive. I'm going through fixing it up and intend to replace the steering and add new suspension. I'm not sure which system the broken part is included in. Please see attached pictures. Is there a particular suspension kit that includes bushings or do I buy those separately? What is the name of what is broken?

The horizontal piece is your sway bar and the vertical piece is the sway bar link.

There should be a rubber bushing between the two and a bolt that holds them together. Looks like the link corroded and the bolt snapped off.

Check out the other side for comparison.

Okay, rockauto.com Stabilizer bar link MAS SK3174 complete with bushings, $6.18 each. The stabilizer bar controls body roll in cornering.

Welcome to the forum!!

Another thing you will need is several cans of PB Blaster (too start with) for all those rusted nuts/bolts your going to be working on, spray several days before you start.

^^ what he said^^ You will also notice the big TORX bolt that holds the bottom end of that sucker on? You'll need to buy/rent a torx socket for that. Check the rockauto site to see if you can get new bolts for that.
