Can somebody actually confirm that this back seat is from WJ? Listed as from an '03 or '04. The front seats look like a WJ to me. But the back seat does not. I always thought they were not one piece.
Year: 1998 Classic (I'll get it running soon....) and 02 Grand
Model: Cherokee (XJ)
Engine: 4.0
I just went out and looked at my '02 to confirm. The bottom and the back are separate, and fold like an XJ back seat. The bottom folds forward, and the back folds down. Plus, the bottom is two pieces; a 60/40 split, with the smaller section behind the driver.
I can't be sure, but those fronts don't look quite right, either. Maybe....

I have been poking around and asked about it on other forums.
And I agree with you.
Thinking WJ seats on XJ bases and an XJ rear seat with either the rear headrests added
or one out of a European XJ.
Which is why I am asking about this. Cause if it is a European rear seat I would not mind
getting my hands on it.
Just another case of a seller not really having a clue as to what they are selling IMO.
In the WJ, the headrests fold forward so they fold into notches in the bottom of the seat bottom to make the cargo area flat. My 2000 XJ doesn't have rear seat headrests or any sockets for them. As stated, the fronts look like WJ seats, but the rear without the split makes me curious. This feature may have been eliminated on later models for crashworthyness, IDK.
