Rear end clicking noise.
I'm getting a loud clicking from the rear end. It sounds like it's in the rear parking brake maybe, at least that's what I've been told. It doesn't do it all the time just once and a while. It only does it 1-15 mph and coming to a stop. It does it turning and going straight. I've also checked the u joints and there's no play at all.m, and it hasn't been long since the rear brakes have been done but didn't do the parking brake. Has anyone experienced that

Here's something you can check. On the inner brake pads there are thin shims mounted under the rivet that holds the piston clip on. Sometimes that shim will rotate and drag on the rotor hub. It causes a squeaking or clicking that's annoying as ****! I just trim it off.

might sound dumb but I had rocks stuck inbetween the threads of my tires and it would do a click-click-click that had the same pace as my speed. took me a while to figure it out, i felt so dumb. so just throwing the idea out there.

Yeah I thought the same thing too at first but it's just loud. Almost like metal to metal hitting each other.
im having this exact same issue. Spent almost $1,000 trying to get it fixed and was just told there’s nothing more we can do. They did the following to try and fix:
differential service labor/replaced old differential fluid with new fluid
new CV shaft
removed and replace R Axle shaft
any suggestions. I don’t want this to cause a greater issue.

Maybe a cracked ring gear tooth, I see it often at my work. Gears look ok but once cleaned off you can see the small hairline crack at the base of the gear tooth.
