So I was broke down working on my jeep, and some kid stopped to help me, I was busy and only half hear him say he shut off power to my acc. Windows, door locks, and mirrors will not work now. Anyone maybe know what he might have done???

This looks like another BCM issue. You and Frank should compare notes (https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f5/win...egrees-270189/). He might even have access to a good BCM for you.

No I'm sorry but he specifically shut it off. It was working just fine.

Had a BCM issue some time ago, no windows, no A/C, and a few other things. Was able to reset by disconnecting the ground cable from the battery, and then reconnecting the ground cable, everything worked fine after that…

Whatever the young fella did, that’s a mystery. My BCM problem was heat related, the battery disconnect reset worked for me. You can turn on an off the ignition switch three times in succession and a fault code might possibly show up on the odometer display, if no fault code, start checking for loose/ dirty connections. Perhaps the guy pulled a fuse or relay from the power distribution box next to the battery, check those…

do you know of possibly an in-line fuse? Coming from power distribution box to firewall? I will check it out tomorrow. Thank you!

Default Ok so still no go

Here we go,

I have checked both door wires, they are all good. I have checked internal and external fuses. All are good.

My jeep will now run, but dies. I know that come up as SKIM module, but I'm wondering if after resetting my pcm, for whatever reason the skim is not getting power thanks to what this kid did.
I have checked the engine compartment for and inline fuses, or disconnected plugs and found nothing so far.

Checked under the driver side dash and found nothing unplugged either.
I'm going to order a new BCM tomorrow, and see if maybe he did something to that. Although I seriously doubt it.

I need to know if anyone knows of any other way he could have shut off power to my interior?!?!

Default Thanks I figured it out!

It was a blown fuse that didn't look bad. I got frustrated and just started replacing fuses and it worked.
