Power windows, locks and mirrors ( not working)
Hi All,
I am new to the Jeep world, and this site ( and I am very happy to have found it.) Please forgive me if I am posting my questions to the wrong category or department.
I recently bought a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. The power windows STOPED working suddenly, according to the previous owner. Out of know where yesterday the driver side went down, then the passenger side partly went down. The driver side will not go back up, but the passenger side will with the control on that side. The two back windows will not operate at all. The power mirrors also do not operate.
I have never done this sort of project before! I would like to attempt to fix it myself if I can, before taking it to a dealer.
I appreciate any advice.
thank you.

I just dealt with this in my 1994 grand cherokee. Turned out to be the wires between the door and door frame were crack and a few actually broken. The rubber sleeve just pops right out of both ends and you will be able to check for breaks
