Well I believe the overland has the HO motor, an additional 35hp than the 4.7L LO. However, it does cost a bit more. Both look pretty sweet, but you get what you pay for. They're both Awd right?

If you want my honest opinion, stay away from the 4.7.
I would buy a 4.0 with Selectrac 242 transfer case. The auto transmissions start to have problems at about 135K if not taken care of. JMHO

In that case, I definitly would not buy the 4.7. They have head warping and overheating problems. The 4.0 will tow a car hauler, but it will be puffing. Keep the speed down and lock out O/D.
Remember, when you load your trailer, keep the tongue weight around 250 pounds.

I can't stress enough that the 242 transfer case has the least problems. It is all mechanical with no viscous clutch to worry about, especially with towing. Also, put a friction modifier in the rear diff, even if it's not limited slip. It will help with the added stress of towing.
