Question MPG advice please

what does your grand Cherokee 4.0 petrol do on mpg

One Of The Things That I Would Grumble About, But Considering It Is A 4 Litre Machine, It Isn't That Bad Really. Around Town, It Ranges From 19-27 Mpg, And On The Motorway, I Average About 32mpg, Which Is Considerably Better Than My Friends' Land Rover 3.5 V8i.

Adam I am no GC expert but that sounds like great mileage for a Jeep. I would be very proud to have those numbers with mine.

My ZJ ,with 4.0, gets 13/13.5 mpg in city and around 22 mpg on the road.

Those #'s seem unrealistic.

Mine gets 17 around town and 22 on roadtrips.

Around town my 4.7 gets 16-17 on the freeway I get 22-23 which is considerably better then the 98 Land Rover Discovery I used to have that got 12 mpg's city and freeway.
