Default front end problem...please help

hello, i do some backyard mechanic stuff on the side and i am going this week to fix a 94? i think, grand cherokee with all wheel drive. and i just wanted to see if you guys have any ideas before i get there of what to look for.
i am told that it makes a clunking noise from the front end when its driven, i was told going straight or turning makes no difference in the noise. and the steering wheel does not pull. it has brand new brakes and new front diff fluid(80/90w). also i thougth maybe it would be axle joints making the noise but i was told they are cv's not ujoints.
thanks

Shocks will sometimes give you a clunking due the fact that the lower bushing will get worn and allow movement. A set Bar Pin Eliminators will take of this problem. I put a set on mine and it really quieted down the front end.

I am using the JKS

All Wheel Drive? It's prob the viscopler(sp) in the t-case. Very common problem. Can sound like noises in the front and you'll notice strange front tire ware...
