How's the coolant level in your overflow bottle? That's where the sensor is.

Yep. Mine does it every once in a while. Still trying to figure out where it's going.

If the cap is loose, it could be evaporating. Mine does the same thing. I've only added a quart in 6 months.

It is a jeep thing. You will always need extra oils and other fluids to top off with.
Of the reservoir is full, the sensor inside it may be faulty. Pretty sure it is a cheaper part, but I don't have the part number right now.

I didn't know that the overhead console even did that.

The WJs do. I usually fill mine to the hot mark when cold.

Go to your coolant senser unhook the senser pull the senser out of the container dont worry it pops back in easy and clean the senser rod it will have a coolant gel that stopping it from free floating clean it and snap it back in and reconnect the wire

Jeep g.c. 4.7 lpg, year 2000

after a month of random low coolant alarm i opened overhead console

after drowned literary with electrical contac cleaner the console the result was simply reducing frequency of alarm

after few daysi i've replaced left power mirror broken

don't konw why, from that date its' a month witout alarm lowe coolant or lower washer fluid

don't believe mirror replacement had part, probably contact cleaner needed some day to work

same console had troubles with remote keys

no alarm at this time , no sensor was replaced
