I have the Overhead Console set not to have the horn go off when we unlock the doors. I can't tell what triggers it, but the horn just started to beep when we unlock the doors now. It happens randomly, not every time. At first I thought it was connected to using the remote. But I don't think it is. Horn doesn't stop until we start the engine.
Might it be related to the rear hatch no longer locking? We notice that the rear hatch stopped locking. I am thinking the actuator went out, but I haven't opened the rear hatch to poke around. Getting embarrassing with the neighbors.
