Ok. I wired up my new horns per the enclosed diagram that came with them. There are 2 terminals on each horn: one for the horn relay and the other wired to the pos terminal on the battery (you're supposed to tie the 2 horns together and splice an in-line fuse to protect everything). I plugged in the stock horn wire to the neg post and ran a wire from the pos post on the horn up to the battery. When I press the horn button, I can hear the relay click... but no horn. I tried a bypass to check if the horn actually worked (pos & neg terminals wired to corresponding battery leads) and the dang thing is clear & VERY loud, so the horns are good, but something is fishy in the wiring.
Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong here??? I must tell you up front that I am a dufus when it comes to electrical, but this seemed to be simple & straightforward. Apparently however, it's not idiot-proof enough to keep me from mucking it up.

Fuse? maybe taking the other one off you touched the hot wire somewhere.. unless you disconnect the battery (depending on year i think) its always a live wire.
